The Fosters 3x02 : our review

Last week, ABC Family gave the kickoff of the third season of one of its flagship tv show, The Fosters. Despite the lack of drama and twists, the season premiere has implemented several interesting leads for the rest of the season, as the arrival of new characters (AJ, Kat) or the evolution of Mariana. Besides, she was not feeling well in the episode which aired this week!

After spending the night with Wyatt, the former boyfriend of Callie, the young woman is ashamed. She chooses to confide to Ana, which shows that mother and daughter now maintain an honest and trusting relationship. There is a nice confession scene between Mariana and Ana.

As every year, Stef and Lena invite Mike and all the important men in their lives at home, on the occasion of Father's Day. Donald, the biological father of Jude is also invited by the young man. He also invites his boyfriend Connor and his father.

Once again, we have proof that Connor's father still does not approve the homosexuality of his son, during a scene which promised to be dramatic but soon took another turn. On learning that the whole school knows about the Jonnor couple Connor's father gets angry and shouts against his son.

While they had not seen in a while, Donald encourages Jude to be proud of who he is. These emotional reunion between father and son are followed by a touching scene between Callie and Donald. The woman puts her rancor aside and go find Donald, on Robert's good advice, just to give him a hug. How cute!

As for the Quinn family, Callie is invited for Father's Day, but nothing goes well! Robert and his wife decide to separate, while Sophia goes wrong. The family can count on the support of the character played by Maia Mitchell, always loving and caring towards them.

Finally, the big rebound of this episode is the adoption of AJ by Mike. Okay it's not an amazing rebound, but we can say that it is the largest surprise of this episode! While waiting to live with the ex-husband of Stef, AJ will stay with the Adams-Foster. Station to you, Callie! The attraction between the two characters is undeniable...

To conclude, it is a beautiful episode, an episode primarily focuses on family values , with beautiful scenes full of good feelings, as we like. The series of ABC Family sets aside the drama and twists again this time, but that's okay because emotion is with go, to our great joy.

However, I find the Brandon scenes are boring to die, I have never loved Brandon and it's not going to change any time soon!

For the rest you have to trust me...
May the odds be ever in your favor...
You know you love me...
