Grey's Anatomy 11x24 : our review

Yeah, the season 11 of Grey's Anatomy ended thursday with unexpected breaks ups, new face and particularly shocking deaths. The season 11 of the medical tv show ends with an episode very nostalgic, leaving majestically down the curtain on more than ten years of adventure and opening the door to a promising sequel. On April 23th, the 21th episode left speechless millions of fans across the globe, attending helpless the tragic death of one of the iconic faces of the show, Derek Shepherd. But while many have imagined that Shonda Rhimes was taking the show into a whole hole by deciding to continue without Patrick Dempsey, it seems that the American writer still has many cards to play and I'm all in.

As announced recently the president of the American channel ABC, the main characters of the show still have years ahead. And against all odds, the season finale comforted the decision of Shonda Rhimes. Nothing is done, quite the contrary.

Upset by the arrival of the patient supported by April, the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital join each other face the impossible, doing wonders again under the command of Dr. Kepner. In her determination, April, however, forgets her relationship with Jackson. Too much in love, Avery says that he is ready to let her go again, if that's really what she wants. But while Jackson and April seemed departed for a new season, the young surgeon leaves her wife, drawing a line on one of the most enduring stories of the medical show.

After Calzona, the fans see the japril break up. Decidedly, this season has been deadly ... in every sense. While a new couple puts an end to their relationship Webber eventually married Catherine Avery, while Jo finally admits to Alex that she loves him. More connected than ever, the two characters are finally ready to leave the Grey cocoon, in which Alex lived since the very beginnings of Grey's Anatomy. Obviously, part of the season 12 should focus on their relationship, after a jump in a year's time, especially remains unclear, in our eyes. Alex and Jo are in love, we know their history but we didn't followed them as a couple. The suite promises to be eventful for both characters ...

While all the characters take a new beginning, it's a surprisingly happy Meredith that ends this eleventh season. Ready to move forward, the surgeon offers to Derek's sister, Amelia, the last message from Derek left on her voicemail. On a familiar background involving a moving cover of "How to Save a Life", this new section lets us rediscover all the most endearing aspects of the medical show. Everything, even the famous dance that Meredith did with Cristina. Surrounded by Amelia and her half-sister Maggie, Dr. Grey look forward. We imagined ourselves being unable to turn the page on Dr. Mcdreamy but again, Grey's Anatomy rests on the strength of its characters. We Loved Hermann, Maggie and Amelia, all in one season. While four new interns were introduced last week, it is therefore no doubt that the medical show still has beautiful day to save lives.

May the odds be ever in your favor...
There's only one tree hill and it's your home...
You know you love me...
