Eye Candy 1x10 : our review

The veil is lifted on Jake's past! A week after the revelation of the identity of the stalker of Eye Candy, it is through a particularly dark episode that were unveiled the motives of the main antagonist of the first season. Traumatized by the destructive relationship that his parents had, the young man was responsible of the death of his mother, a drug addict, when he was five years old. Thus causing the suicide of his father, Jake is persuaded that one day he'll find the perfect woman, he believes Lindy is the perfect one. If the guilt of the young man became more and more evident in recent episodes, hard not to get carried away by the charisma of his interpreter, Ryan Cooper, which blends perfectly into the unhealthy dementia of his character. If he does not seem able to do harm to the heroin, he is threatening and guiding her actions.

But Lindy surrounded by Tommy, George and Connor, recover the advantage and gets rid of her attacker. Once again, the intervention of George seems essential to the smooth running of events. Funny, fearless and passionate, the secondary character is truly for the first time brought to the forefront, giving us a significant light during a particularly heavy episode. Marked by the death of Tessa and the endangerment of Sophia.

Certainly Eye Candy remains an entertainment far away from convincing, breathtaking and compelling thrillers that we might find on other network. By bringing together ratings 600,000 viewers per week, Christian Taylor unfortunately not realize the ratings hoped by the MTV channel and could therefore not be offered a Season 2.

The writers have still chosen to complete this first season on a cliffhanger even more surprising that the identity of the murderer of Ben. Sara was never kidnapped against her will. What reasons Sara had for left her sister in the dark? Of What the young woman was trying to protect Lindy? Will Lindy forgive Tommy? It's on many questions that concludes this first season, and although Eye Candy is not worth a good old episode of SVU, a second season would not be refused. Would you like to have a season 2 of Eye Candy?

Xoxo
