Bates Motel 4x01

So tell me, what did you think about the return of "Bates Motel"? To be quite honest, I completely forgot that I was watching this show because its season 3 had ended quite a while. So I log on TV Show time and I see that the show is back, so you can also understand that I had also forgotten how the season ended and what the cliffhanger was.

But the first scenes were made me realize how I missed this show. It's a real pleasure to watch the episodes because we don't see the time passing and this is happiness because it must be admitted that for some shows, the episodes are quite long to watch even if it's 40minutes (example: Pretty Little Liars). A return ... how to say explosive. This season is going to be particularly psychedelic.

This episode was well above my expectations. The plot was long to set up, but we are finally here. Norman Bates terminal process is started. We find immediately the atmosphere dear to "Bates Motel". Then we find Norman, alone with his paranoid delusions in a field in the middle of nowhere.

Norman is definitely reached psychologically everyday. But I could also point out that there are not only the son who is crazy but the mother is as much but in a more different way ... The mother of that Norman is absolutely amazing, and ready to do everything for her son who needs a doctor more than ever ... so during the whole episode, a question comes to my mind: Norma, when will you understand that your son deserves to remain in the psychiatric hospital? ... I love it when Norman disguises as his mother, we see, in this season, that Norman is downright obsessed with his mother.

Whenever I see Norma and Norman together I am uncomfortable because their relationship is unhealthy and is limited to incest. Norman gets worse and worse. Now this is the mother of Emma who went there. I was sure she would not get out of the house alive.

The Bates family has lost it. There are also a Romero always intriguing, and trying to hide a corpse in the sea. The final scene was worthy of Hitchcock's films where Norman plagued by delusions increasingly violent reacted destructively! But not surprising when you know the evolution of the character in his killing spree. Finally, a very good introduction to a show of quality, where the atmosphere and chilling pesanten, holds us spellbound immediately, and that's not counting the excellent interpretation of comedians from season to season.

May the odds be ever in your favor...
You know you love me...
