Mean Girls : our review!

"Mean Girls", this UFO of teenage movie genre. 

Here is the story of Cady (Lindsay Lohan), a young teenager who, after spending her youth in Africa, who had never set foot in a school, arrives in an Illinois high school where reigns the Plastics, the popular group of cool girls led by Regina George (Rachel McAdams) and her henchmen, Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried), and Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert).

The synopsys has nothing orgasmic at first sight. Except that Mark Waters gives us a film with a great and intelligent humor, written by Tina Fey with madness punchlines and a tearing BO.

The actors are terrific, including Tina Fey in the role of the teacher completely crazy, Rachel McAdams as Regina sumptuously demonic or Lizzy Caplan as Janis.

"Mean Girls" manages to find an original tone and pose as reference in the genre.

The presence of Tina Fey to writing (and cast in a supporting role) is of course no stranger to the project's success and its offbeat humor and sometimes irreverent.

"Mean Girls" can also rely on Lindsay Lohan still fresh and dainty, who lands of wild Africa to discover a world even more dangerous, that of a US high school, arranged in hierarchical castes, governed by rules as immutable as ridiculous ...

Thus, initially disoriented by this ruthless world, LiLo incorporates the "Plastics", a band of self-serving and superficial Barbies, led by the villainous Rachel McAdams.

The caricature is often fun, but the second part of the film sees "Mean girls" reconnect with more adventures awaited and most agreed values.

To date the best teen movie that exists. And the success of the success is that we are light years away from those of Disney and company, rather dedicated to pre-adolescent girls. Here sex, drugs and alcohol do not scare.

Accompanied by replicas now become cult, and characters with strong personalities. In addition the cast features star who at the time were in became like Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried and the great Tina Fey.
